Cindy
Lead vocals & harmonies
Cindy has been singing from a young age, beginning in her church choir in Medford, Massachusetts, and later in her high school chorus. During her years at Salem State College and throughout her cosmetology career, she performed in many karaoke competitions, earning a few wins. Inspired by an open mic night, Cindy later learned guitar and pursued songwriting, forming the original band Sweet Escape in 2009. The band recorded three original albums. Today, Cindy performs upbeat country and pop cover music with her band Pick 6, alongside a talented group of musicians and close friends.
Tammy
Lead vocals
Tammy is a natural born singer from Billerica. Massachusetts who has loved singing since childhood. Well known in her local circuit for her karaoke fame, she stumbled into our band at the perfect time and place. She has added a whole new dynamic to the band with her stage presence and camaraderie with the band.
Nils
Bass & Vocals
Nils has been a musician since childhood, and was introduced to stringed instruments by his mother who was a cello and violin teacher, teaching children out of their home. He played cello, violin, and piano all before the age of ten, and became the piano accompanist for his high school choir, performing at student competitions in NYC and Walt Disney World. He also learned to play tuba in high school, and performed in the Massachusetts all-state student orchestra, as well as marching band. He picked up guitar and bass during high school, and performed in several rock bands in the 1990s with fellow students. As an adult, he was educated at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Science in recording technology, and has been a freelance audio engineer working with touring professionals and local musicians for over 20 years. He resides with his wife and daughter in Southern NH, and performs every March with his family to celebrate their Irish heritage performing classic Irish folk music in their band, “Jug of Punch”. He is an avid outdoorsman, spending free time hiking, camping, and skiing in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Nils is the driving force behind the scenes to keep this band organized and has such a kind and diplomatic way with people.
Mac Iver
Lead guitarist
MacGyver was born in Boston and showed a love for music from an early age, playing melodies on a toy xylophone as a baby. His parents enrolled him in classical piano lessons, where he built a strong musical foundation. As a teenager, his father bought him a guitar, and within a year he was performing professionally. He later attended the Berklee College of Music while recording and performing with local original and cover bands, and has also worked as a session musician in Nashville.
Scott
Rhythm guitar & Vocals
Scott is a self-taught musician from a multi-generational musical family. He began playing piano at 9 years old, got his first guitar at 12, entertaining his parent’s guests at age 14 on the Lowrey organ, and performed in his first rock band while in high school. In the 80’s, Scott co-founded the New England country band, “Damn Yankees”. Highlights with that band included opening for Tommy Cash at the concert venue “Indian Ranch” and earning a “Single of the Year” nomination from the Massachusetts Country Music Association for his original song “Drinkin’ Alone Again”. Scott later went on to perform with country bands, “Just Yanx” and “Laredo” before switching gears and forming the pop/dance/GB band, “Liaizon”, later known as “The Groove”. A performance highlight was appearing as the backstage party band in the “Sam Adams World Class Concert Series”. After many years with “The Groove”, and its acoustic trio version, Scott has returned to his country roots as a member of Pick 6
Cliff
Drums & percussion
Raised in Massachusetts, Cliff is a highly accomplished drummer and percussionist known for his consistency, musicality, strong sense of groove and wonderful personality. Everyone loves Cliff!. He serves as the backbone of the band’s sound, driving both the rhythm and the energy that keeps audiences engaged and the dance floor full. With a lifelong dedication to music, Cliff has performed with numerous bands and brings a deep level of experience to every project. He is frequently called upon to fill in on drums whenever needed, a testament to both his versatility and his genuine love for performing.
CC
Guitars
CC discovered his passion for music during Sunday drives with his father, traveling to pick up his grandmother with the radio always playing. He began his musical foundation in the high school band drum corps before finding his true calling on the guitar. Influenced by artists such as KISS, Van Halen, the Scorpions, Motown, and Southern Rock, these early inspirations shaped his musical direction. As life progressed, CC focused on building a career and raising a family, placing music on hold for many years. In time, he returned to the stage, performing locally in a classic rock band where he developed a strong command of live performance and audience engagement. Known for his wide smile and positive presence, CC thrives in moments when the band is fully in sync and the crowd is energized. With a generous spirit and deep passion for music, his contributions continue to elevate the band and enrich every performance.
Bryan
Lead Guitar
Originally from Michigan, Bryan started playing guitar at the young age of 11. He is self taught and has studied all styles of music. He has had the luck to have worked with some great musicians he listened to on records and the radio. Music has been his life long study that only gets more intriguing. His wonderful sense of humor along with his creativity with learning new songs has really made our band step it up another notch!
Justin
Keys
Justin is a very musically talented multi-instrumentalist as well as a composer and booking agent. He performs and books over 200 shows a year in New England and throughout the United States. Justin has performed with many of Boston’s finest musicians and has had the privilege of sharing the stage with musical greats such as Mike Campbell (Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers), Charlie Musselwhite, Maria Muldaur (Jerry Garcia Band), Dave DiCenso (Josh Groban), Eric Bloom (Lettuce), Dana Colley (Morphine), Steve Berlin (Los Lobos), Rob Compa (Dopapod), and many others. His natural skill on the keys adds so much flair and amazing sound to the band.
